Fans of only a few artists qualify as “stans’ on the internet and Eminem is one of them. The superstar leads a closed private life and hardly ever comes out for any public appearances, events or the like. He skips most award shows as well. Hell, even paparazzi have a hard time capturing him on the streets.
So when Em does get photographed, every single section of the photo is analysed very carefully. This is exactly what has been going on ever since Shady Records runner and Em’s longtime manager Paul Rosenberg shared the above photo on his Instagram yesterday with the caption “It’s been a long time… #7elevenseries”. Fans are asking: “what is written on Eminem’s palm?”
The most common theory is that it says “April 9” to send a cryptic message to his fans that he’s dropping a new single or album on Sunday. Some also believe it says “April 7” which will mean new music on the traditional day of Friday.
FINALLY… His hand says April 9… Thanks Paul… #Eminem #Detroit #SlimShady pic.twitter.com/NPtweBNnE4

What do you think, does Eminem really have April 9 written on his hand in the new pic? pic.twitter.com/WXntWmjU0P

Only time will tell if this ends up being true. Em last released a song in October last year when he dropped ‘Campaign Speech‘ around the U.S. Presidential elections. His last studio album The Marshall Mathers LP 2 was released in 2013 and is certified 4x Platinum by the RIAA.
