J. Cole isn’t done with pushing his latest album 4 Your Eyez Only. The rap star’s songs are often slow burners on the radio and the first single ‘Deja Vu‘ confirmed that once again. It managed to peak at number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 several months after its initial release, and continues to well even now.
Cole will now release ‘Neighbors’ as the second official single from the album. The track, which Cole produced and wrote himself, goes for adds on the radio officially on April 18th. Only time will tell if this is able to repeat the success of its predecessor.
This move comes on the heels of the news that 4 Your Eyez Only is now certified Platinum by the RIAA. The rapper is set to embark on his world tourĀ on June 1st, kicking it off in Columbia, SC. Tomorrow (April 15th), HBO will air a documentary based around making of the album. You can stream ‘Neighbors’ below.
