JAY-Z has been in the news past few days for his thirteenth studio album 4:44 which has got a great reaction from fans. The album is a TIDAL exclusive for now but that will probably end soon as other services including Apple Music are expected to host the streaming starting later this week.
Die hard fans are always looking to buy physical copies and it looks like they are on their way indeed indeed. The CD version has gone up for pre-order on Amazon with a release date of July 7. There has however, been no confirmation from Hov or Roc Nation about it yet. Young Guru confirmed earlier that the song ‘Adnis’ will be included in this edition.
JAY-Z has pulled another surprise move by offering his album for free. As usual, as lot of non-TIDAL users were disappointed as they couldn’t get a hold of the album on their favorite service but to counter that, the rapper has made 4:44 available as a free download. All you have to do is go to 444.TIDAL.com, enter your name/email address and put “SPRINT” as the promo code. It will provide you with a free copy of the LP in both mp3 and FLAC formats. You do not need a TIDAL account to do this. Enjoy!
