Last week, the final three episodes of the popular Starz drama Power were leaked online after a person got access to an employee login on Starz’ dashboard. Social media went berserk over the happenings in the episodes while a press release from Starz threatened to “take legal action” against the responsible parties.
50 Cent, the executive producer of the series, took to Instagram and said that the network accused him of purposely leaking the episodes. “STARZ thinks I leaked my own show,” 50 wrote. “Anyway if you have on demand catch POWER tonight 12:00AM. If not Sunday 9:00PM it is LOL #50Centralbet.”

Today, 50 has admitted on his Instagram that he was indeed the one who leaked the episodes and the network is glad since the ratings were up another 10% for the latest episode that aired on Sunday. “POWER Ratings up another 10 percent for episode 408. They glad I leaked the shit now. LOL #SAVAGELIFE Now watch what I do on BET. #50Centralbet,” said the G-Unit boss in his post. Replying to a fan in the comments section, 50 wrote, “I thought I didn’t leak it too, till my numbers came back LOL.”
50 loves trolling so whether we should believe him is another story.
50 Cent is busy creating his new show 50 Central on BET which debuts September 27. He recently said that he will be cancelling Irv Gotti’s show TALES on the network since the ratings were not good.
