French Montana’s song ‘Unforgettable’ featuring Swae Lee ended up being the biggest hit of his career but it was the music video that greatly helped in the song going viral.
The video was shot in Uganda and starred a local dance group of kids called The Triplets Ghetto Kids who also toured with French in the U.S. for a select few live performances. Today, the Coke Boys rapper has released a short film titled My Project, Their Reality where he shares his unforgettable experience of traveling through Uganda and seeing that kind of life for the first time.
French takes us through the entire journey, right from landing in the country everybody told him not to go to, to interacting with local people at the ospital and shooting the music video with the dance crew. He calls his trip “the first vacation” of his life and says that it changed his life forever. Watch the self directed film below.
