Kanye West Releases ‘Lift Yourself’ As Official Single From New Album

If you thought releasing a song like ‘Lift Yourself’ was enough troll, what do you think about releasing the track as an official radio single?

That’s correct — Kanye and his labels (G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam) unleashed the song to radio stations countrywide last week and is already the fourth most added song on the format as per the latest stats revealed earlier today, HHNM can confirm. The song, which only has the following lyrics in it: “Poopy-dee scoop/Scoop-diddy-whoop/Whoop-dee-scoop-dee-poop/Poop-dee-scoopty,” was called a joke when it was initially released by ‘Ye end of April.

There was no denying though that the production on the track reminded Kanye’s fans of some of his old, sampled based work. ‘Lift Yourself’ is currently #2 on Bilbloard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart, which ranks new records that will potentially become chart climbers in the future. Only time will tell whether ‘Ye will be able to make a hit out of this and whether it will end up making the cut on his upcoming album.

Earlier today, Kanye revealed a partial tracklist for his forthcoming album which is set to release on June 1.
