Kevin Gates is currently working on his new project Luca Brasi 3 which will be the second release since getting out of jail earlier this year.
Yesterday, he released the video for ‘Vouch’, taken from the recent EP Chained To The City which you can stream here. The rapper stopped by Real 92.3 in L.A. for his very first proper interview since being free and it didn’t go too well. Around the 5 minute mark, a frustrated Gates looks at his watch and asks his team how long he has to do this for.
“Coz you gotta think I just got out of jail, I didn’t even get time to transition and I feel like I’m being interrogated,” he says in disgust. “I do, but no disrespect to y’all I’m trying to answer the question the best I can without being disrespectful but I feel like I’m being interrogated like I’m talking with an attorney,” he continued. About 30 seconds later, Bootleg Kev’s co-host HED accidentally touches Gates’ sweatshirt to which he reacts, “please don’t touch me.”
