DJ Khaled has finally unveiled his much anticipated new album Father of Asahd where he adopted a different of strategy. There were no singles to build buzz for the LP before the album. All fans had to gauge was the two singles released last year — ‘No Brainer’ and ‘Top Off’.
Father of Asahd features an all star cast of late Nipsey Hussle, Cardi B, Big Sean, Travis Scott, Post Malone, Meek Mill, Jeezy, Rick Ross, 21 Savage, Lil Wayne, Lil Baby and more. Like previous 10 studio albums from Khaled, this one has assistance from various producers as well. But one thing’s different: he has himself produced several tracks on it all by himself.
‘Just Us’ featuring SZA contains the famous Outkast ‘Ms Jackson’ instrumental. Khaled will also be releasing a documentary to capture the creation process called Father of Asahd: The Album Experience on May 21. Check out the full list of producers below.
