“My album’s finished, I’m just out here playing.”
That’s basically the memo Wale wants us to have with his new song ‘Daylight’ as he prepares to drop what might be his most important album to date. “Summer is approaching / I am the superego that humble you roaches / I’m hungry, I’m focused / I’m troubled, I’m introverted,” raps Wale on the hook of the song.
Listen to the loosie produced by Thelonius Martin below. Wale is set to release his 6th studio album later this year. Back in March, he revealed that he’s worked with Bryson Tiller and Lil Durk on the project.
