UPDATE: The final sales numbers for the week are in. Jeezy debuts at #4 behind Taylor Swift, Brockhampton and Young Thug with 49,983 copies sold and 22,112 coming from pure sales.
Previous story:
Jeezy released his 9th studio album TM104: The Legend of The Snowman last week to a mixed reaction from fans. The album features guest appearances from ex rial Rick Ross, Meek Mill, CeeLo Green, John Legend, Ty Dolla Sign, Gunna and more.
Taylor Swift was the biggest release of the week, and perhaps the year, so Jeezy was no way going to have a shot at the number 1 spot. The Def Jam set is projected to move 35-40k copies in the first week with about 10-12k out of that coming from pure sales, according to HDD.
This number will give Jeezy anything between number 5-7 spot on the Billboard 200 this week. In comparison, his last album Pressure moved 72k copies in the first week back in 2017. we The Atlanta trapper recently revealed that TM104 is his final album with Def Jam but he did not confirm whether it will be his last album, as he previously mentioned.
