Lil Nas X won the “song of the year” award for his smash single ‘Old Town Road’ at the MTV VMAs but he’s not resting on the laurels and wants to continue working.
In an interview with Angie Martinez on Power 105, Nas X revealed that he’s started the work on his debut album. He jokes that he’s only about 2% done. “With this, I wanna have at least 70 songs to choose from, for like making a 10-15 track album,” he told the host. He added that he wants the project to be more personal than his 7 EP.

Nas X is currently pushing his single ‘Panini’ on radio & elsewhere and reveals that ‘Rodeo’ featuring Cardi B will be the next one to get the single treatment. He is planning to shoot a music video with Cardi soon which will be followed by some new material.
