Meek Mill, YG, Roddy Ricch, DJ Khaled, John Legend to Perform Nipsey Hussle Tribute at GRAMMYs

It was already announced that a tribute is being planned for Nipsey Hussle at the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards this Sunday.

Today, the Recording Academy has revealed the performers who will take the stage for the special performance: Meek Mill, YG, Roddy Ricch, DJ Khaled, John Legend and Kirk Franklin. Nispey is nominated for “best rap performance” & “best rap song” GRAMMY for ‘Racks In The Middle’ featuring Roddy Ricch & Hit-Boy. He’s also nominated for “best rap/sung performance’ for ‘Higher’ alongside DJ Khaled & John Legend.

“An activist, entrepreneur and rapper, Nipsey Hussle had a lasting impact on not just his community, but also the culture at large,” said Ken Ehrlich, GRAMMY Awards executive producer. “There is no denying the influence he had and his legacy will be felt for generations to come. We are honored to bring together this amazing group of artists to celebrate Nipsey’s life and pay tribute to his many contributions to music. It’s sure to be a memorable performance.”

Hosted by Alicia Keys, the 62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast live on CBS, Sunday, Jan. 26 at 8 pm ET.
