Mac Miller’s ‘K.I.D.S.’ Mixtape Released on Streaming Platforms

Mac Miller’s breakout mixtape from 2010, K.I.D.S. is now out on streaming platforms.

The first hint about the project hitting streaming services arrived in August via Rostrum Records founder Benjy Grinberg. K.I.D.S. is short for ‘Kickin’ Incredibly Dope Shit’ and the late rapper’s fourth mixtape. It featured popular tracks ‘Nikes On My Feet’ and ‘Kool Aid & Frozen Pizza’, eventually leading to him establishing a cult fanbase.

It’s important to note that the songs ‘Traffic in the Sky’ and ‘La La La’ have not made the official release. “After Macadelic came out, Mac asked if we could clear this one next. It has been challenging but we are getting through it,” Grinberg wrote in an Instagram post in August, 2019. “We miss Mac every day and we see our job as making sure his music lives on. We love you, Mac.”

On this 9th anniversary of the first tape that Mac and Rostrum put out together, I’m excited to announce that “K.I.D.S.” will be available on all streaming services later this year! After Macadelic came out, Mac asked if we could clear this one next. It has been challenging but we are getting through it. We miss Mac every day and we see our job as making sure his music lives on. We love you, Mac.

Apart from the mixtape now being out on all streaming platforms, his music video for ‘Don’t Mind If I Do’ has also been uploaded to YouTube in high quality.

Stream K.I.D.S. below. Last month, two news songs from the deluxe edition of Mac’s posthumous album Circles were released.
