Post Malone is still going strong on the charts with his previous album, Hollywood’s Bleeding which is still sitting at the #6 spot on Billboard 200 after all these months.
On top of that, his single ‘Circles’ is also #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has broken the record for the most number of weeks spent inside the top 10 of the chart. But Posty is already working on a new album, as was hinted by his manager Dre London a couple of weeks ago. “I’m sorry I can’t stay away from my brother Posty! I’ll take the chance! Tonight we made a smash on FaceTime now we gonna just go into Quarantine Album mode,” Dre wrote on Instagram. “If we don’t connect energy how the🌎gonna enjoy this summer?🤷🏽♂️Let’s Get It!! See You Soon bruv! #2020 #DreVision
Now in another Instagram post, Dre uploaded an old clip of Post Malone hanging out with Lil Uzi Vert backstage at a concert in 2015 and in the caption, he teased a potential collaboration between the two on the next album. “I remember these two hustling from ground zero in 2015 To see the levels they’ve brought it to is amazing!! I know we got a lot of surprises on this next project, Maybe a Posty Vert idk 🤷🏾♂️ I just wanted to post this clip from memory lane!!” he said.
Safe to say, this will have a shot at breaking some streaming records. Even prior to the global coronavirus crisis hitting us, Post Malone was promising his fans new music during 2020. In January, he told Rolling Stone he is already planning his next album release. “I hope to have a record out for the fans in 2020,” the rapper-singer said.
