Kodak Black has been enjoying his freedom, dropping new music and taking part in some activities to help the community. On Sunday, he honored Meadow Pollack, one of the victims of the Parkland mass shooting in 2018, with a $100,000 scholarship in her name at the Southeastern University Law School, where her brother is currently attending.
The rapper was released from prison on January 19th after Donald Trump pardoned him, Lil Wayne and a few others while on his way out of office. The 23-year-old born Bill Kapri, was serving a 46 month sentence after admitting in 2019 that he falsified information on federal forms to buy firearms from a South Florida gun shop.
I Want To Thank The President @RealDonaldTrump For His Commitment To Justice Reform And Shortening My Sentence. I Also Want To Thank Everyone For Their Support And Love.
It Means More Than You Will Ever Know. I Want To Continue Giving Back, Learning And Growing. @DanScavino

He has already thanked Trump officially on social media but he’s taking it one step further by getting an expensive ring which says “Trump Ties.” The troubled rapper showed off the new piece, in company of his lawyer, during an Instagram Live session with Fat Joe over the weekend.
