Big Sean is one rapper who has always championed the importance of Mental Health as he is someone who has struggled with that aspect of his life in the past, and has been quite open about it as well.
Today, the rapper is announcing that he is launching a wellness video series with his mother, Myra Anderson, presented by their non-profit, the Sean Anderson Foundation. Beginning May 1st, a new video will be released every Saturday during the month of May at 12pm EST/9am PST to commemorate Mental Health Awareness Month.
In each 10-15 minutes long episode, the son and mother will hold candid conversations about mindset, sleep/circadian rhythms, meditation, diet/exercise and the emotional freedom technique (EFT). The videos will go live on the Sean Anderson Foundation’s IGTV on this link.

“I feel that Mental Health Awareness Month is the perfect time to talk with my mom about some of the things I have learned from her that have helped me along the way, and I hope will help others,” said Big Sean about the new series.
“Sean and I wanted to share some of the no or low cost techniques that we have used over the years to help us attain and maintain emotional balance. In the future, we may do a deeper dive into some of these techniques and other tools that we use,” added Myra Anderson.
