It was the end of June when Fat Joe appeared on B. Dot’s Complex Brackets show and revealed that he was thinking about doing a project called W.W.B.D., which stood for What Would B.I.G. Do?
A couple of weeks later, he put out ‘Back Outside‘ with frequent collaborator Remy Ma and tonight, right as we get into the middle of summer, the mixtape is out.
It ended up being a Gangsta Grillz, which is a welcome surprise. Across its 9 tracks, there are plenty features. Making a guest appearance are French Montana, Lil Yachty, DJ Khaled, Seyn Streeter and more. Joe has made a point of saying that the purpose of the project is to make feel good music, so perhaps it can be part of the soundtrack to your summer.
