Ever since DONDA was premiered during the first listening session at the Mercedes-Benz stadium in Atlanta and then subsequently this past Friday, ‘Hurricane’ has been a fan favorite.
Kanye’s die hard fans are also aware that the track was originally tentatively called ’80 Degrees’ and was previewed by ‘Ye himself while promoting YANDHI in 2018. The song has gone through many changes since then and Ant Clemons, one of the writers on the track, had also teased the release in May. He had later taken down the tweet.
While we eagerly wait for Kanye’s 10th studio album DONDA to arrive on DSPs (no idea how much more the wait will be), the first single ‘Hurricane’ is now starting to roll out. The track now features The Weeknd performing the the hook duties while Lil Baby assists with the guest verse.

‘Hurricane’ isn’t out in the U.S. on any of the streaming services but is now available on select services internationally including Russia’s Yandex and Japan’s biggest domestic music streaming service, Line Music.
On Apple Music across all territories, it mentions that ‘Hurricane’ is track #2 on the album and will be available once you pre-add the album on the service. Until it arrives everywhere, listen to a preview below.
