Last night, The Weeknd turns people’s heads when he suddenly tweeted “f*ck it … IT STARTS TONIGHT”, in reference to his new era of music. A few days prior, he had wiped his Instagram of all of its posts, which was the signal to fans that the previous era was over.

He ended up previewing what is likely to be his new single which fans are calling ‘Take My Breath’ because of how it ends. It’s synth-heavy and feels like authentic 80s music. Listen to it here.
This morning, GQ released their cover story with Abel which shows off his latest look, an afro and slick fashion choices. In the cover story, he talks about how fans reacted to Kiss Land, his relationship with drugs, where he draws the line between Abel and The Weeknd and more. When asked who he wanted to work with musically, he mentioned some names that are sure to have fans excited.
“I’d love to work with Arca. Arca’s great. I’d love to work with Kanye again. Especially on production. I got mad love for Tyler, The Creator and what he’s doing right now.”
