Lil Durk has released an expected collaboration with Country star Morgan Wallen called ‘Broadway Girls’.
It’s rap-country song with an infectious hook that has the potential to become a hit but fans are obviously surprised to see the Chicago rapper collaborate with the controversial singer. Wallen found himself in hot water after he was caught on video saying the N-word while he was out with friends.
Wallen said in an interview shortly after that he did spend 30 days in rehab following the alcohol-fueled incident. He has previously said he uttered the slur at the end of a “72-hour bender.” Wallen said, “I was around some of my friends, and we just, we say dumb stuff together. In our minds it’s playful. I don’t know if it sounds ignorant, but that’s really where it came from.”

It’s not clear whether this is a one off single for Durk but seeing his Instagram post, it looks like the duo has shot a music video as well. Morgan’s sophomore project, Dangerous: The Double Album is the highest selling album of 2021, moving a total of 3.2 million units so far.
