Kanye Explains to Fox News His Decision of Selling Gap Line Out of Large Bags

Over the last couple of days, there have been some images shared on social media which show Kanye’s Yeezy x Gap collection being sold out of large bags, which looked like garbage bags.

A photo taken by a shopper at one of the Gap stores went viral, that showed West’s Yeezy Gap collection haphazardly spilling out of black bags. Of course, many had thoughts of criticism about the same.

“This is how they are selling Yeezy GAP,” the tweet said. “The sales associate said Ye got mad when he saw they had it on hangers and this is how he wanted it. They won’t help you find ur size too, you just have to just dig through everything.”

Ye has now done an interview with Fox News at the Times Square New York Gap store where he explains his decision of selling the clothes out of bags and not hangers. He clarifies that they are construction bags.

“Look, man, I’m an innovator, and I’m not here to sit up and apologize about my ideas. That’s exactly what the media tries to do. Make us apologize for any idea that doesn’t fall under exactly the way they want us to think,” he said to reporter Eric Shawn.

He later continued, “This is not a joke, this is not a game, this is not just some celebrity collaboration — this is my life. I’m fighting for a position to be able to change clothing and bring the best design to the people.” Watch the clip below.
