A Boogie Wit da Hoodie & Kodak Black Reunite on New Song ‘Water (Drowning Pt. 2)’: Listen

A Boogie Wit da Hoodie has reunited with Kodak Black for the new single ‘Water (Drowning Pt. 2)’.

If you remember, the two scored a big hit back in 2017 with the song ‘Drowning‘ that peaked at number 38 on the Billboard Hot 100 and ruled the radio for several months. They have now decided to make a sequel of the track, naming it ‘Water (Drowning Pt. 2)’.

It may not be as catchy as the first one but it still has the potential to make a mark. “When I heard the beat, I already knew from the jump. I heard the beat and I was like, oh yeah, this is another genre hit. I just throw with the same type of, not the same flow, but that same rhythm where you just ride the beat. You know what I’m saying? I feel like Drowning was just a whole new start to something new when it comes to that time. You know what I’m saying? Right now we just keeping that energy going, and that never ends. That never ends. I take my breaks or whatever I do, but I feel like right now I’m at a point where I just want to let go every three months. I want to let go of the clip every three months right now for the next years, so I apologize to all my fans on that base. Know what I’m saying?” he told Zane Lowe on Apple Music.
