Nicki Minaj has been really active musically with both her own songs and features/remixes, so fans thought that they were in for an album fairly soon. This afternoon, Nicki has announced the official release date for the album and it’s surprisingly far out.

The album will be out on the 20th of October, four and a half months from now. It’s less common for artists to announce a release date so far out these days, but on the bright side for fans, it likely means there’s a big rollout already planned.
