PlaqueBoyMax Signs with Capitol Records & Zack Bia’s Field Trip Recordings

PlaqueBoyMax has announced he’s signing to Captiol Records and Zack Bia’s Field Trip Recordings.

The streaming star is coming off a crazy year in 2024 where he made waves with Twitch series In The Booth and Song Wars. He dropped his debut EP 5$TAR LESSONS: London in March and has followed up with 5$TAR LESSONS: Atlanta tonight. It features 7 songs featuring collaborations with Flo Milli, Quavo and more — stream it below.

“Max is a true pioneer and is changing the current landscape of entertainment. We are here to help scale and operate his vision as he continues to merge all of these creative fields,” said Zack in a statement. “The goal is to build directly out of the core 5$TAR community first and foremost, always leading with Max’s taste and collaborations that are true to him. We look forward to helping him bring his world to life in ways that the industry hasn’t seen before. Just like Max is changing the way music gets made – on a live stream in front of thousands – the Field Trip and Capitol teams are changing the way music is released: clearing and delivering the songs as they’re being made to deliver fans with the most seamless experience possible. I want to send a special message of appreciation to Ricky Banks, Matt Kalish, and our Faze family as well as Tom and our Capitol family for continuing to empower our company in supporting unique artists. I know we are all beyond excited to be in Max’s corner.”

Zack Bia and the Field Trip team have been silent partners with PlaqueBoyMax since January but have now got a major in Capitol Records involved as well. PlaqueBoyMax will be joining Field Trip’s already stacked roster, with other signees including Yeat, SSGKobe, and HVN.
