Drake didn’t promote his latest project More Life much, aside from a couple of interviews and a mention here or there. But he’s surely milking the songs off the project. ‘Passionfruit’ and ‘Free Smoke’ were released as the first two singles from the “playlist”, but it’s the former which took priority for him and the label, eventually topping the Rhythmic radio charts in second week of May.
Drizzy is now ready to serve another new single from More Life and the surprise choice is ‘Glow’ featuring Kanye West. It officially goes for adds this Tuesday, June 6 but some stations are already playing it. I personally love the song but it’s interesting that they have chosen this not-exactly-radio-friendly track as a single.
Kanye and Drake have gone through a weird relationship past year or so. They were reportedly working on a joint album but that got derailed quickly after Kanye took shots at him at his Sacramento tour stop last November. Following that development, ‘Glow’ came as a surprise to fans and it sure was a pleasant one. It will be great to see a music video for the collaboration.
