Kanye West held his Sunday Service today in New York City at the The Greater Allen Cathedral in Jamaica, Queens. The rapper is expected to release his new album Jesus is King sometime on Sunday but we still don’t know whether that will actually happen.
During today’s service which was live streamed on sundayservice.com, ‘Ye decided to drop a little freestyle over some funky sounds in front of the select audience. This hasn’t happened in a long time so fans tuned into the live stream were obviously excited to see their favorite rapper rhyming live again. Watch the clip below.
During the Jesus is King album listening event in Chicago on Saturday, Kanye announced that he will no longer be making secular music — it will be purely Gospel from here on.
