Migos debuted their new single ‘Motor Sport‘ last week and since then, speculations about how the collaboration took place have been running wild.
But Nicki took to Twitter earlier today (Tuesday) to clear all rumors around the big song which also features Cardi B. She revealed that the song only had Quavo and her to start with. “I was on the song w/Quavo,” she tweeted. “No one else was on it. He called & asked if I think we should put Bardi on it, I said ‘ok let’s do it’. The end.”
The Queens rapper then went on to say that no song with her on it goes to stores and streaming services without “her written approval.” She then announced that ‘Motor Sport’ was the number 1 added song on Urban radio this week (we can confirm that it’s accurate). The speculations ran wild after Joe Budden said on Complex’s Everyday Struggle show that according to him, Nicki was added to the song afterwards and probably didn’t know that Cardi was also going to be featured on it. “I think that Kanye suggested to Migos to put Nicki on this song,” said Joey.
