Drake is absolutely unstoppable right now. And we feel like we have written this statement a number of times already.
The Toronto superstar’s latest single ‘Nice For What‘ came out 10 days ago along with a music video that featured cameos from Olivia Wilde, Issa Rae, Tiffany Haddish and more. It was an instant hit with the fans and that explains why Drake has replaced himself at the number 1 spot of Billboard Hot 100 this week.
‘Nice For What’ has debuted straight at number 1 on the chart, pushing his own song ‘God’s Plan’ to number 2. With this, the Lauryn Hill sampled smash becomes the 30th song to debut at the top spot of the Hot 100 chart.
Drake joins The Beatles, 50 Cent and Justin Bieber as the only artists to have 3 songs in the Hot 100's top 5 simultaneously.

That’s not it. Drake is also the first artist in history to replace himself at number 1 on the Hot 100 with songs that both debuted at the top spot. In addition, Drake joins The Beatles, 50 Cent and Justin Bieber as the only artists to have three songs in the Hot 100’s top 5 simultaneously as ‘Look Alive’ with BlocBoy JB maintains its 5th position on the chart.
Just incredible. ‘Nice For What’ serves as the second single from Drake’s upcoming new album, which is set to release soon via Cash Money/Republic Records.
