Busta Rhymes has finally revealed the release date for his new album ELE 2.
The veteran rapper has been working on ELE 2 (Extinction Level Event 2) for a very long time — we have articles on the site dating back to 2013. But this is the first time that it feels like the project will finally see the light of day. In a new trailer uploaded quietly on his Instagram TV on Wednesday, Busta announced that ELE 2 will hit stores October 30th.
The trailer, simply captioned “JUST KNOW… #ELE2 SOON COME!!” contains a clip of N.O.R.E. talking about the rapper and his long delayed album on Drink Champs but right at the end, a text appears, unveiling the release date. Watch it below.
The sequel to his original from 1998 is preceded by the singles ‘The Don & The Boss’ Feat. Vybz Kartel and the latest one ‘YUUUU’ Feat. Anderson .Paak — both have come along with music videos. Busta is somebody who likes to have plenty of collaborations on his albums so we are pretty sure that we can expect a similar formula this time around.
