Kendrick Lamar Shakes Up The Super Bowl With Bold Drake Diss And Surprise Guests

Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl 59 halftime performance was nothing short of legendary, leaving fans buzzing with surprise cameos and bold moments that took his long-running feud with Drake to new heights. Kicking off with an unreleased song snippet and followed by “Squabble Up” from his latest album GNX, Kendrick immediately set the tone for a game-changing performance. Fans eagerly waited to see if Kendrick would play his diss track Not Like Us, especially with Drake's ongoing lawsuit against him and his label for defamation and harassment. Lamar's performance included an unexpected appearance by SZA and a quirky cameo from Serena Williams, along with Samuel L. The first No Ceilings came at a unique time for Lil Wayne. He was fresh off of Tha Carter III, releasing Rock music to roll out Rebirth and preparing to serve time at Rikers Island. It dropped on Halloween of 2009 and the reception to it was insane.

It’s mentioned right up there with Dedication 2 and Da Drought 3 as one of Wayne’s best tapes and we think it’s one of the best of all time.

The second left something to be desired. It dropped in the summer of 2015 when Weezy was fighting his battle against Cash Money and it didn’t have the same impact as the first. The wave was changing a bit.

Earlier this year, Wayne put out a shortened version of the first instalment on streaming services and around the same time came the announcement that we were getting a No Ceilings 3 at some point. It will arrive in around half an hour but before then, we have the track list.

It’s hosted by DJ Khaled, who hasn’t been on a Wayne mixtape for well over a decade now. Features include Drake, Young Thug, Cory Gunz and more. Any guesses about what instrumentals some of these are?
