Last night (Sunday) was a big one for Megan Thee Stallion as she accepted the award for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop at the American Music Awards.
Megan brought her infectious energy to the stage as she performed her latest single ‘Body’ on the stage along with her dancers, bringing similar choreography to the one we watched in the music video a few days ago. It followed an introduction from host Taraji P. Henson, who appeared in the ‘Body’ music video.
“I love my body. Every curve, every inch, every mark, every dimple is decoration on my temple,” Megan delivered a strong message during the set. “My body is mine and nobody owns it but me. And who I choose to let in is so lucky.”
