Today, a hearing was supposed to take place in the ongoing case about the Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion situation which happened over a year and a half ago now. The last we heard about it was when Tory was ordered to stand trial in December.
All that happened today was that the hearing was delayed until the 5th of April in just over a month, but if you were on social media, you might not have known that.
DJ Akademiks falsely tweeted that “it was revealed in court” that “Tory Lanez(‘s) DNA WAS NOT found on the weapon” in the case. This got thousands of retweets and likes until it was deleted for being completely false. Akademiks has since deleted the tweet.
Megan took to social media to call him out over the false reporting, rightfully so. She said that he posted it before court even begun and urging people to report properly before posting anything. You can check out the tweet and her series of posts below.
