Over the years, Kendrick Lamar hasn’t been immune to his music leaking online.
In the first quarter of 2018, a few collaborations of his with Kanye West hit the internet. Later that year on one night in September, 8 records from Kendrick leaked, including linkups with SZA, Jay Rock and more. In 2019, random records from 2009 surfaced online and then in the summer of 2020, a few more records leaked, some of which ended up on Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers in some form.
Early this morning, Kendrick has been the victim of a couple of other leaks.
The first is ‘Falsehood’, a groovy record with three verses, the last of which is the last verse on the album version of ‘i’. There is a bar that it sounds like was intended for Dr. Dre to record too, although Kendrick does his best Dre impression on this version instead.
The second is ‘Organized Madness’, a much less orthodox song from which some lines made it onto ‘Complexion’. Thundercat appears on the end.
Even with untitled unmastered. dropping, it looks like there’s still gems from the TPAB era sitting around. These are great.
