Previous story:
One of the biggest rap albums to arrive in the last few weeks was actually NF’s HOPE.
HOPE marks the Michigan rapper’s first studio album since 2019’s The Search, although he did release his Clouds mixtape in between, in 2021. The new album features contributions from Cordae and Julia Michaels while rest of the album is all solo work.
Today, we have the first week sales projections for the album. HDD reports that HOPE will move between 90-110k copies in the first week, giving it a comfortable #2 spot on the Billboard 200 chart this week behind Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time.
Daniel Caesar’s new LP Never Enough (Republic) is set to debut inside Top 20 with first-week activity projected at 25-30k.
