Doja Cat has mocked her own fans online over calling themselves “Kittenz.”
It all started on the Threads app when Doja Cat asked those fans to grow up who have been using that nickname for the fan community, similar to Taylor Swift’s “Swifties” and Nicki Minaj’s “Barbz”. And that’s when the back and forth between her an the fan accounts began.
“My fans don’t name themselves shit,” she said. “If you call yourself a ‘kitten’ or f**king ‘kittenz’ that means you need to get off your phone and get a job and help your parents with the house.”
A fan account with the handle @thekittenzweb then asked the rapper-singer: “What should I change my name to since you don’t like the term kitten.” Doja replied: “Just delete the entire account and rethink everything it’s never too late.”

She also slammed fans who are using her government name in their social handles. “You making my government name ur sn is creepy as f**k,” she wrote to an account with the handle @amalazandiledlamlni. Doja’s legal name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini.
WHEW CHILE! 👀| Doja Cat has had it with fans commenting on her personal life. After telling her “kittens” they needed jobs earlier, she responded to fans asking if she can say she loves them with:
