Nipsey Hussle released his debut album Victory Lap last week with about 10 years of professional recording experience at hand. The reaction to the album has been solid across the board but how is it performing on the commercial front?
The album, which has been released in partnership with Atlantic Records, is set to move 40k copies in the first week, according to Billboard. That should give the L.A. rapper a solid top 10 spot on the Billboard 200 this week. Yesterday, Nipsey released the video for one of the standouts on the album, ‘Hussle & Motivate’ after making promo stops on Funk Flex for a freestyle and The Breakfast Club for an insightful interview.
