Drake might be taking an L against Pusha T according to most fans but that’s surely not affecting his hit factory.
The Toronto superstar’s single ‘God’s Plan’ has been certified seven times platinum by the RIAA. The certification was awarded on May 31, as can be seen from the screenshot below. The Boi-1a produced song was initially released as part of the Scary Hours EP in January which also featured the song ‘Diplomatic Immunity‘ but it was later turned into an official single after seeing the enormous response from listeners.
The single debuted straight at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the opening week and the music video released a few weeks later helped keep the momentum up. Even to this date, the song has maintained a top 3 position on the chart, while his follow up single ‘Nice For What’ continues to dominate the number 1 spot. His new album Scorpion is expected to release this month.
