After a long wait, the supergroup made of Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, E-40 and Too Short have dropped their first single ‘Big Subwoofer’.
If you remember, the four West Coast legends had debuted this song at the Triller Fight Club event back in April. Following some delays, the single along with its official music video are now available on DSPs. In the video directed by Jesse Wellens and Sam Macaroni, the four rappers travel in a spaceship to another planet and party with stripper aliens.
‘Big Subwoofer’ will also serve as the first single from Snoop’s forthcoming new album The Algorithm, the first release since he was appointed as the Executive Creative and Strategic Consultant for Def Jam Records back in June.
“There’s so much talent on this record,” said Snoop, “so many styles of music, it breaks the algorithm. Right now, the algorithm is telling us you have to rap this way, you have to sound this way, but they’re not telling you how it’s supposed to feel. My algorithm is going to give you a feeling, not a sound.”
