We all know music is slow on the weekends so it’s the perfect recipe for me to sit back and write a new Play It On The Radio in peace. Kendrick Lamar had the most added song on Urban radio this week which was definitely a pleasant surprise. But here are the other highlights from the FM dial.

RHYTHMIC:

- We finally have a new number one! Kirko Bangz moves up the charts to the top position with his banger ‘Drank In My Cup’.
- Drake still holds strong at #2 and #3 with ‘Take Care’ and ‘The Motto’, respectively.
- Young Jeezy continues his strong move as he enters the top 10 at #7 with ‘Leave You Alone’ feat. Ne-Yo. Warren G gets a big credit for producing this certified hit.


- Gotye’s ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ gains massive spins this week to land at #20.
- Fat Joe’s ‘Another Round’ peaked at 18 a few weeks back but it’s now rolling down, settling at 24 this week.
- Drake’s new single ‘HYFR‘ is picking up steam, jumping to #31.
- A surprise miss is T.I.’s ‘Love This Life’ which fails to enter the top 40 this week as well.

- Young Jeezy is doing well on this format too as ‘Leave You Alone’ enters the top 5 at #4 this week.
- Ca$h Out’s breakthrough hit ‘Cashin Out’ jumps to the 5th position and expected to go even higher next week.
- J. Cole’s ‘Nobody’s Perfect’ and Trey Songz’ ‘Heart Attack’ make slow & steady rise to 11 and 12.
- DJ Khaled’s ‘Take It To The Head’ makes a move to #15 while Beyonce’s ‘Love On Top’ slides from 11 to 16.
- Nicki Minaj’s ‘Beez In The Trap’ rises to 24 with a good increase in spins while Future’s ‘Magic’ does the opposite to land at 26.
- Wale’s ‘Bag Of Money’ feat his MMG gang moves from 36 to 33 after a few weeks on charts.
