There were reports earlier this year that Nicki Minaj was involved with the upcoming movie Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse that hits theaters everywhere December 14th.
Nicki has today confirmed her contribution through a new trailer. The Young Money rapper can be heard providing vocals to a track which serves as the backdrop of the video teaser as scenes from the animated film are previewed. It isn’t clear yet if she is in the movie as well or just contributing to the official movie soundtrack with an original song, like she did on Creed II alongside ASAP Rocky and ASAP Ferg. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is produced by Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation in association with Marvel. Post Malone and Swae Lee’s song ‘Sunflower‘ from the soundtrack continues to do well on the charts.
