Jeremih was able to survive a serious case of COVID-19 when he was admitted into the hospital after he had multiple organ failure.
Jeremih was released from the hospital on December 4th and since then, has been working on his recovery in all areas of the mind and body. Jeremih also released a statement, thanking friends, family and the fans worldwide for all the prayers after his release. “First and foremost, I would like to thank God and the incredible team of doctors and nurses at Northwestern Memorial Hospital for saving my life. I will be forever grateful,” he said.
Jeremih has done his first proper interview since his release from the hospital, with Chicago’s 107.5 WGCI. During the interview, he talked about his near death experience in the hospital, how he thinks he got COVID in the first place, why we all need to take it seriously, losing his ability to walk properly, thoughts on the vaccine and more.
When the topic of vaccine came up around the 13:30 mark, Jeremih said he is not sure yet whether he’d like to take it. “Right now, I’m not sure yet. Right now, I’m good,” he said. “I’m still taking shots from the hospital, so I’m good from my shots right now,” he continued. Watch the full interview below.
