The new year slow down is finally over on the radio and we are now experiencing some heavy moment on the charts. Who’s winning and who’s losing, let’s find out in the 42nd edition of my favorite series on the internet — Play It On The Radio.
RHYTHMIC:
– Eminem retains his #1 position with ‘The Monster’ featuring Rihanna but Kid Ink is only 300 spins away with ‘Show Me’. He’s up about 400 spins this week which means he could take the top spot next or the week after that.
– Pitbull takes the third spot with ‘Timber’ feat. Ke$ha which is followed by former #1, ‘Hold On We’re Going Home’ by Drake.
– Beyonce’s ‘Drunk In Love’ continues to make huge jumps as she enters the top 5 with a gain of about 900 spins this week. I predict this to be #1 in the coming weeks.
– Katy Perry’s ‘Dark Horse’ feat. Juicy J and YG’s ‘My Ni**a’ feat. Young Jeezy & Rich Homie Quan are the other big risers at 6 and 7, respectively.
– Chris Brown’s ‘Love More’ slides to #10 this week after weeks of good performance on Rhythmic while Ty Dolla $ign’s ‘Paranoid’ rises to #15.
– Jason DeRulo’s ‘Talk Dirty’ feat. 2 Chainz is one of the biggest gainers this week, entering the top 20 at #19 this week. T-Pain’s ‘Up Down’ progresses to #23.
– Mike WiLL Made It’s ’23’ takes a huge loss of over 700 spins to #21 while Jay Z’s ‘Tom Ford’ also loses steam by 800 spins to #24.
– One of my favorite tracks right now, Rico Love’s ‘They Don’t Know’ is up 300 spins to #30 and Pharrell finally enters the Top 50 here at 45 with ‘Happy’.

– Drake’s ‘All Me’ goes from #1 to #5 this week while Kid Ink’s ‘Show Me’ enters the top 10 at #8.
– Drake’s latest single ‘The Language’ from Nothing Was The Same is consistently rising up the charts, making its way to #11 this week.
– T-Pain’s ‘Up Down’ and Ty Dolla $ign’s ‘Paranoid’ take the #12 and #13 positions, respectively. Both are produced by DJ Mustard and feature B.o.B on the guest verse.

– J. Cole’s ‘Show Knows’ enters the Top 20 at 18 but only up by about 70 spins. John Legend follows him on #19 with his amazing ballad ‘All Of Me’.
