There have been tons of rumors surrounding an alleged new Outkast album which got especially strong after the legendary duo announced a reunion tour including 40 festivals in 2014. But talking to Revolt backstage during the NBA All-Star Weekend in New Orleans, Big Boi shut down the rumors once and for all.
He confirms that there is no Outkast album in the works:
“No, no, no. We’re just doing the tour only, just for the fans. That’s all it is, just the tour.”
Big Boi is however working on a new mixtape inspired by HBO’s hit series Game Of Thrones which will feature Common, Wale and more. It is due out in the next few weeks.
