Kanye ‘Drink Champs’ Interview With N.O.R.E. Removed From REVOLT & YouTube

N.O.R.E. Apologizes for Kanye Interview & Explains His Side: Listen

Kanye’s controversial interview on Drink Champs has been removed from both YouTube and REVOLT.

Following the interview with N.O.R.E. and co-host EFN, much backlash happened online, with viewers pointing out the rapper’s comments regarding the murder of George Floyd, and Jewish people “[owning] the Black voice” through Black people wearing a Ralph Lauren shirt, “being signed to a record label, or having a Jewish manager, or being signed to a Jewish basketball team, or doing a movie on a Jewish platform like Disney.”

Kanye’s appearance came on the heels of Ye’s attendance at Candace Owens’ premiere of her film, The Greatest Lie Ever Sold: George Floyd and the Rise of BLM. One of the comments made by Ye alleged that he died from fentanyl instead of the police officer killing him with his knee on George’s neck. The police officer’s “knee wasn’t even on his neck like that,” he said. Which was a false statement.

N.O.R.E. apologized for the interview later, specifically for the hurtful comments about George Floyd. Identifying himself as a “journalist,” the Drink Champs host added: “As a journalist, you’re really not supposed to have an opinion…you’re supposed to let people talk. And my biggest critique on Drink Champs is ‘N.O.R.E., you always cut people off!’ And this is the one time I didn’t cut the people, didn’t cut ’em off, and everyone’s mad.”

The full interview can no longer be found on YouTube or on REVOLT’s app where it premiered.
